京都超SDGsコンソーシアムは本年度（2023年度）、SDGsについて真剣に考え議論し発信することを目的とした年間プログラム「地球環境ユースサミット2024」を、全世界の中高生を対象として開催します。この地球環境ユースサミット2024をサポートする大学生・社会人メンターを募集します。意欲ある中高生たちの議論の場を、一緒に創り上げましょう！みなさまの積極的な参加をお待ちしています！
実施概要
地球環境ユースサミットは、英語のディスカッション能力の向上および知識の習得を目的とした「導入講座」と、提言に向けた議論を展開する「本講座」の2部構成で開催します。内容・開催日時等は当HPをご参照ください。
【メンター業務】
以下の内容のうちいくつかを担当していただきます。
①中高生の英語での会話の通訳・サポート
②中高生の議論のファシリテーション
③地球環境ユースサミットの運営補助
＊地球環境ユースサミット2024の終了後は、地球環境ユースサミット2025（2025年8月頃まで）を開催する予定です。メンターは地球環境ユースサミット2025までの継続的な参加が可能だとありがたいです。
ファシリテーション（議論補助）の様子
対象
①次世代のリーダーの在り方、環境問題やSDGsに関する活動に興味関心のある大学生・社会人
②オンライン会議システムに参加できる環境を用意できる方

①使用言語は原則英語です。
②年度をまたぐプログラムになるため、次年度の予定を確認した上での申し込みをお願いします。
③原則、無報酬でのご協力をお願いしております。なお、通信費等は参加者負担です。

This year (FY2023), the Kyoto Beyond SDGs Consortium will hold the Earth Youth Summit 2024 as an annual program for junior and senior high school students from all over the world. This one-year-long program is designed to sincerely consider, discuss, and communicate about the SDGs in English. We are looking for university students and adults to support Earth Youth Summit 2024 as mentors. Let’s create a forum for discussion among motivated junior and senior high school students together! We look forward to your active participation!
Outline of Implementation
Earth Youth Summit in KYOTO will be in two parts: a pre-seminar to improve skills for English conversation and knowledge, and a main-seminar to discuss about proposals. Please check the contains details and date at Earth youth summit HP.
【Mentor tasks】
You will be responsible for some of the following tasks.
①English interpretation & support of conversation for youth
②Facilitation of discussion for youth
③Operation support of Earth Youth Summit 2024
＊After Earth Youth Summit 2024 finishes, Earth Youth Summit 2025 will be held(2024.09-2025.08). We hope mentors can join us until Earth Youth Summit 2025.
Facilitation
Target
①University students or workers who are interested in the leadership for the next generation, and activities related to environmental issues and the SDGs.
②Those who can prepare to participate in seminars by using the online meeting application.

Handling of Personal Information
Personal information submitted at the time of application will be used only for the purpose of registration to this program. A person in charge for the management of personal information will be appointed, and security measures will be implemented to prevent loss or leakage of personal information.
Notes on participation in the program
①In principle, English will be the language used during the period.
②Since the program covers across fiscal years, participants are requested to confirm their schedule for the next fiscal year before applying to this course.
③This is voluntary work, so the office does not pay a salary in principle. The communication expense is to be borne by the participant.
④The frequency of attendance or working time is flexible. If you have some requests, you can contact us via contact form on this HP.
